Dr Mohammad Kowsar Passes Away
Funeral Today
Dr Mohammad Kowsar, noted university professor of the Fine Arts Faculty, died.
Dr Mohammad Kowsar played a key role in improving Iran’s academic theater, especially during 1970s. His career included performances of ‘Otello’, ‘Lorenzaccio’, ‘The Good Person of Szechwan’, ‘The Lower Depths’ and ‘The Possessed’.
His funeral was held at 9:30 today in Tehran’s Beheshte Zahra Cemetery.
