Shahram Karami as New Director General of Dramatic Arts Center

Seyyed Abbas Salehi said in his appointment letter to Shahram Karami;

"Given your efficiency and valuable experiences in cultural and artistic activities, you are appointed as director general of Dramatic Arts Center upon the recommendation of deputy culture minister for artistic affairs.

It is hoped you take helpful and efficient steps to develop this fundamental art financially and intellectually and expand its physical spaces in line with the law and moderation and with trust to the God Almighty and employing the proficiency and expertise of theater artists, existing capacities to improve quality of theater, solve main problems of provincial theater and activation of the country's performing talents."

Shahram Karami is replaced Mahdi Shafiee. Mr Shafiee is also appointed deputy managing director of official news agency IRNA for logistics and management development in an appointment by Seyyed Zia' Hashemi.  

Born in 1972 in Kermanshahd, Shahram Karami is a theater author, director, critic, university professor and art official.
