She did a got job as a costume designer in series “Romantic” two years ago. Among her most recent performances as an actress can be noted Unfinished, Hamlet, Blood Glucose and Dior.
In an interview with Iran Theater, about her recent activities Elham Sha’bani said:” I'm scheduled to play in The year that two autumn by Lili Aaj ,also I will do costume design.” The year that had two autumn” has a realist structure and I play the role of a waitress. The story happens in today. Sina Yailagh will do production design.
The actor said about the reasons for his long-term cooperation with Lilly Aaj: Her approaches to the plays and her right female characters made us long-term cooperation. Aaj’s look is very true to the reality of the society and it is pleasant to work with her. we have many common concerns. The roles that I played in Lily Aaj’s works always make me involved with myself.
"It's difficult to direct the theater, and of course, I'm also fond of directing, and maybe I'll do the show by the end of the year," She told about her desire to be director.
She compared the attraction of acting with dress design:” Both of these fields are appealing to me and I accept good suggestions in both fields. I started my career as actress in theater. As an actress I analyze my characters. I became acquainted with the basics of the characters , This gives me a better look for designing. As a costume designer I always place myself in characters. I consider different aspects of the characters. The full awareness of the character's cloth and knowing the requests of various directors in the some situations helped me as an actress.”
