“suddenly A Pigeon” to be performed

Iran Theater-Written by Mohammad Charmshir ,Suddenly a pigeon  directed by Rozita  Firozan will be performed in Mehr Hall.

The show will be read in two days on 18 and 19 of July in in Mehr Theater Hall, Hoze Honari. The story is about women at the Qajar Dynasty. A woman named Nozhat is barren. So her husband ,Forogh  Hashem,  has married with Sanam.  Some nursemaid wants to tell the news in the some ways to Nozhat. Fatemeh Shekarloo, Sara Olyai,Armina Mahomodi,Rihaneh Farzaneh Yekta and Bita Akbari will perform in the Suddenly a pigeon.

Born in 1960, Mohamad Charmshir is one of the most admired playwrights and respected university lecturers in Iran. In 1979, he studied Dramatic literature at Tehran University of Dramatic Arts and over his successful career life, he has published more than one hundred plays which have been translated into English, German, French, Japanese, Turkish, Polish, and Swedish and played on stage in European countries as well as US and Asia. Mr. Charmshir is not an ordinary playwright, he has the magic power to give a new birth into words and his perception of drama is beyond stage. Over the past thirty years of his professional work he has led short theatre courses and being member of juries at numerous internationally renowned theater festivals.
