Parviz Taeedi Passed Away

Iran Theater- Parviz Taeedi ,translator and Iranian screenwriter and director of cinema and television trailer, died of cardiac arrest at age 81 after years of being inflicted with diabetes disease on Saturday morning.

Iran Theater- Parviz Taeedi ,translator and Iranian screenwriter and director of cinema and television trailer, died of cardiac arrest at age 81 after years of being inflicted with diabetes disease on Saturday morning.

Born in 1937, he was known as a director, writer, lecturer and translator, and was one of the founders of the television theater.

With the translation of Stanislawsky's book "An Actor's work on Role", he contributed greatly to the familiarity of Iranian theater actors with one of the most prominent method acting in the world. In this regard, he wrote the book "Stanislavsky's Theory of Nurturing the Actor".

Taeedi had films such as the 'deadline' and 'the attack of crabs' in his work, and was one of the first translators and instructors to become an academic actor in the theater.

His other activities include teaching at the Drama Schools, the Sure College, and the translation of works by renowned world-famous screenwriters.

His first major role in the theater was in August's Stindberg's 'Father'. Among his other plays is 'neglected beautiful' and 'last crop bar'.Short films on 'Iranian monuments, Role of the Painting of the Wall', 'Soil, Water and Flowers', 'the wind of Fire, 'The Basiji', 'The Art of Carpet of Iran' was another activity of this pioneering artist.
