The purpose of the Akbar Radi Theater Festival is to discover new talents

Iran Theater- Shahram Karami, director general of the performing arts center and member of Akbar Radi's theater festival policy council, who is a brilliant playwright, said about the festival:” The purpose of the Akbar Radi Theater Festival is to discover new  talents. Some  talents that, if properly guided, the country's shows boom.”

He added:” The drama literature has a special reputation in every country. The words have a lot of content and values, and the writer has spent a lot of time writing his sentences to make it credible. In fact, the value of literature is in the depth of the content, unfortunately, the new writers in this field, have a superficial look at it and deal with a variety of issues, mostly in a superficial and journalistic way.”

“In the last two decades, the drama and drama literature has undergone many changes in Iran, the number of playwrights has increased, and the form and manner of writing plays have undergone a lot of changes. The reason for all these changes is the widespread use of communications and technology that has become popular in the last two decades, and the writers have come up with a new form of play writing that the presence and availability of new media has led to a change in the structure and, ultimately, to ease and simplify.”
