  • "Simorgh" to broadcast on Radio Namayesh

    Iran Theater-The radio show “simorgh” will broadcast on Radio Namayesh Chanell on national day of Faridoddin Attar Neyshabouri.

     

    Iran Theater-The radio show “simorgh” will broadcast on Radio Namayesh Chanell on national day of Faridoddin Attar Neyshabouri.

    Fatemeh Hasanvand wrote the play which deals with the life and works of Faridoddin Attar Neyshabouri.

    In this show, Fereydoun Mehrabi, Sima Khosh chehsm, Mona Safi, Ahmad Ganji, Mandana Mohseni, Mehdi Sabaghi and other actors from the General Directorate of Performing Arts center will perform.

    Producer: Shahnaz Dehkordi, directed by: Bahram Sarvarinezhad, Sound mixing: Heydar Safdari and effector: Mohammad Reza Ghobadi Afar,  the show will be on air  at 13:30 p.M , April 14.

    Attar died at the age of 70 in 1189 during the Mongolian invasion of Neyshabour.

    Attar's most celebrated work is Manteq-ul-Tteir (The Conference of the Birds), a poem consisting of 4,600 couplets. The poem uses allegory to illustrate the Sufi doctrine of union between the human and

    the divine.
