Iranshahr Theater Complex to Home “Golden Dragon”

Iran Theater-"Golden Dragon" directed by Ali Proshani Nia will be on stage at the Iranshahr Theater Complex.

“The Golden Dragon” is written by Roland Schimmelpfennig famous German playwright.

Ali Proshani Nia is a mechanical engineer from Sharif University and has received his master's degree in management from the University of Liverpool. He directed and designed the shows such as "Skulls in Kanamara", "The Wonderful West", ,"Moon and Tiger’. He  also acted in "The Child" directed by Simin Amirian.

Raha Jahanshahi is prodcution manager.

Hossein Omidi, Marzieh Badragheh, Saba Pooyeshman, Ebrahim Azizi and Mohsen Nouri are the main cast.

Roland Schimmelpfennig (born September 19, 1967 (age 51) in Göttingen) is a German theatre director and playwright. He began his career as a journalist, but starting in 1990 he studied at the Otto Falkenberg School to be a theatre director. He is one of Germany's most prolific playwrights, widely praised in Europe but relatively obscure in the United States. His work is said to vary from "kaleidoscopic" and dreamlike to naturalistic. He lives in the Eastern part of Berlin with his wife. Two of his plays, translated as Push Up and The Woman Before, have been performed at the Royal Court Theatre in London

He wrote the libretto for the opera Der goldene Drache by Péter Eötvös, composed and premiered in 2014, based on his 2010 play.
