Final Participants of 23rd International Children & Young Adults Theater Festival

13 Pieces of Street and Children Theater Sections Selected

Selection Council of the competition sections of street and children theater of the 23rd International Children & Young Adults Theater Festival chose final participants.

Selection Council, which is comprised of Fariba Daliri, Ali Zafar Ghahremaninejad and Mohsen Pourqasemi, reviewed submissions and selected 14 pieces as final participants of the two sections, irantheater.ir reported.

Seven pieces of theater for children include;

1-      “Bough Bough”, written by Mohammadreza Jafarifout and directed by Maryam Mehdipour from Astane Ashrafieh

2-      “One Day and Two Seasons”, written by Noushin Seifi and directed by Ramin Kohan from Tehran

3-      “Pieces of Paper” by Amir-Mohammad Ensafi from Lavasan, Tehran

4-       "Honest Woodcutter" by Fatemeh Abrar Paydar from Hamedan

5- "My Dream Notebook, Lucky I Am", written by Massoud Taheri-Azod and directed by Mohammad Talebi from Hamedan

6- "Colorful Skeins' Dream", written by Farhad Esmaili and directed by Kobra Malmir

7- "What Is the Meaning of Bravery" by Sharareh Tayyar from Tehran

Six pieces of street theater include;

1-      “Why Does Not Rain” by Maryam Mehdipour from Astane Ashrafieh

2-      “The Witch of Trash City” by Maysam Sarabadani from Tafresh, Markazi

3-      “Surprise" by Mehdi Habibi from Malayer, Hamedan

4- "Messed-Up Look" by Reza Bahrami from Tehran

5- "You Say" by Milad Hosseinzadeh from Astaneh Ashrafieh

6- "So Much Me" by Behdad Balighfar from Hamedan

The festival will be held in the historic city of Hamedan in December. Shahram Karami is the secretary of the festival.
