Fadjr Theater Festival to Have Competition in a Review of Iran Theater

Secretary of the 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival said that a review of Iran theater would be competitive and be judged by the jury members.

Secretary of the 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival explained that in addition to youth and international sections, the festival would be competitive in a review of Iran theater, irantheater.ir reported.

Saeed Asadi said that Fadjr International Theater Festival as the country’s most important theater event would encourage performing art, give an opportunity to theater troupes to exchange experience and art with each other and serve as a bridge between dramatic arts and its lovers.

Also, Iran theater would have a chance to review a section of its large productions and subject them to evaluation and criticism besides pieces from other countries, the official stressed.

He added that artists of Iran theater either the young talents or experiences veterans were going to get together in the upcoming festival, which would take place in Tehran on January 20-31, to present their diversified pieces.

As it was mentioned in the invitation of the international and youth sections of the festival, both parts would have competition, Mr Asadi explained, adding that the secretariat was decided to hold competition for a review of Iran theater too to put more enthusiasm in the festival.
