“Seven Days of Tir 60 (June) 1981” Pays Tribute to Family of Martyr Sarafraz

The last performance of “Seven Days of Tir 60 (June) 1981”, which was co-directed by Mohammad Larati and Kamran Shahlaei, closed at Sayeh Hall while it paid tribute to family of martyr Sarafraz, one of 72 people killed in an explosion on June 28, 1981.

“Seven Days of Tir 60 (June) 1981”, which had its last performance on Tuesday, paid tribute to martyr Javad Sarafraz.
Ali Asghar Amirnia, managing director of propagation office of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Sarafraz, former head of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) and brother of martyr Javad Sarafraz, and some of the members of his family watched the last performance.

Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini Beheshti, a jurist, cleric and politician who was known as the second person in the political hierarchy of Iran after the 1979 Islamic Revolution, was martyred in the explosion. He was assassinated along with more than 70 members of the Islamic Republic Party.

Mohammad Larati and Kamran Shahlaei co-directed “Seven Days of Tir (June) 1981” at Sayeh Hall of Tehran City Theater Complex. The 90-minute play told a true story of one of the crisis of Iran’s contemporary history.

Amin Sayyardashti, Farzin Mohades, Mojgan Khaleghi, Farhad Tafreshi, Ahmad Jafari and Hedieh Rezaei starred in the play.
