Also, Iran Theater's editor-in-chief, Ali Akbar Abdolalizadeh was awarded the best correspondent of the year for the second year and the most active member of the association for his efforts in publishing theater calendar, drafting theater vision and good coverage of Iran theater news.

The Noushin Award is received by members of the association and Mr Abdolalizadeh had received it once before in 2005.

Mr Abdolalizadeh said that he was proud to receive the award and was happy for being chosen for the second time.

He reminded that he was editor of theater page of Cinema Weekly when he had received the award in 2005, adding that he worked with Mehr News Agency, Tehran-e Emrooz and Saba dailies as well as Iran Theater website henceforth.

Comparing the quality of the annual gathering of association to other related events, Mr Abdolalizadeh said that unfortunately, some bitter events happened in the annual festival of Cinema Critics Association recently.

He also stressed that media people needed more on-the-job trainings and this element was forsaken unfortunately.

"This is what I am doing now…to educate the younger generation to take their job seriously," Mr Abdolalizadeh said.

He hoped that the active presence of the association and its future commemoration would help media to improve their quality.
