Jury Members of 22nd Tehran Province Theater Festival Introduced
Tribute to 2 Late Actors
The secretariat of the 22nd Tehran Province Theater Festival has named the jury members of the competition section.
Qotbeddin Sadeghi, actor, director and university professor, Afsar Asadi, actress, and Ezatollah Qomi are named the members of the jury, Iran Theater reported.
Meanwhile, the festival will pay tribute to two theater artists Naghi Seif Jamali and Omid Shirazi who passed away recently.
The late Mr Jamali, a veteran theater actor, was a member of Kouch Troupe. He co-acted with renowned actors such as Parviz Parastouei, Behzad Farahani and Ebadollaj Karimi. He starred in many TV series and movies too.
Born in 1983, Mr Shirazi was a BA graduate of filmmaking (editing). He had an associate diploma in direction and diploma in acting. He starred in 'Old Wound', 'Story of Jasmine', 'Ali, the Immortal Man', 'Galin Khanom' and 'The Picture' by Eugene Ionesco.
The city of Varamin will host 22nd Tehran Province Theater Festival from September 15 to September 19.
