Final Lineup of International Children & Youth Festival Announced

Review of 67 plays, submitted to the play writing section of the International Children & Youth Festival-Hamedan, was over. Ten plays are chosen the final competitors.

The jury of the section included Mohammad Charmshir, Seyyed Hossein Fadaei-Hossein and Gita Davoudi, Iran Theater reported.  

The final plays are; “Black Wood Horse”, written by Maryam Mansouri from Tehran, “1,000 Girls Orchard”, written by Zahra Molaei from Tehran, “No Comment”, written by Seyyed Javad Rahimzadeh from Mashhad, “If You Want a Friend, Tame Me”, written by Asadollah Asadi from Isfahan, “The Plain of Sun”, written by Mehdi Maleki from Tehran, “Footsteps of New Baby”, written by Ziba Borji-Fallah from Tehran, “Cinderella”, written by Saina Amiri from Bandarabbas, “Story of an Elephant who Somersaults”, written by Omid Niaz from Isfahan, “Brazilia Alley”, written by Sina Shafiee from Karaj and “Seven Hands and One Finger”, written by Shadi Ghafourian from Mashhad.  

The final lineup will do some editing and will be subjected to final review. The top plays will be published.

The International Children & Youth Festival will take place in the western city of Hamedan in November. Maryam Kazemi is the secretary.
