Nader Borhani Marand as a new FITF Director

Shahram Karami, Director General of the Performing Arts Center appointed Nader Borhani Marand as a new director of the thirty-seventh Fajr International Theater Festival.

Shahram Karami, Director General of the Performing Arts Center appointed Nader Borhani Marand as a new director  of the thirty-seventh Fajr International Theater Festival.

 

According to Iran Theater, Shahram Karami wrote in a letter to Nader Borhani Marand: The Fajr International Theater Festival(FITF) is the largest event in the country and has a special place. Undoubtedly, protecting this position and its progress for those involved in this great artistic event is essential.

 

 Nader Borhani Marand was born in 1969 and graduated from Cinema and Theater Faculty at the University of Art. He is a playwright, director, actor and Theater lecturer. He’s directed a lot of stage play such as the island, The Mummy man, the birth, the fall, the wisdom, the old razor, the small secret, the olive garden, Tehran under the wing of angels, and many other works.

He has won numerous awards from Fajr Theater Festivals for directing, writting and acting. He has  also been  a jury for numerous international and local festivals.

Borhani Marand is one of the members of the Contemporary Theater Group, which has been activated since 1997. The Commander Show, his latest play, was performed in the main hall of the City Theater complex.
