Ali Montazeri is a member of The Iranian Academy of Arts. He previously was the head of Jihad Danesghahi, the head of Performing Arts Center of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, a member of the Founding Board of the Students News Agency of Iran (ISNA), as well as a member of the Founding Board of International Quran News Agency (IQNA), editor of the Scientific Research Journal.
The Iranian Academy of Arts was established in March 2000. It is one of the four academies of the Islamic Republic of Iran; the other three are: the Iranian Academy of Medical Sciences, the Iranian Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Persian Language and Literature.
