Qotbeddin Sadeghi in Re-Opening of Arghanoun Theater Complex

Do Not Let Private Theater Go Down

Qotbeddin Sadeghi, university instructor, actor and director, attended the re-opening of Arghanoun Theater Complex on Monday, watching ‘Good Sleep Sleep’, directed by Salim Bashokouh.

He was briefed on reconstruction of the complex, saying that the theater community should appreciate re-joining of the Arghanoun Theater Complex to the country’s theater venue.

He hoped that correct decisions by new management would pave the ground for true path as the complexes focus on box office sale rather than identification of the young theater talents.

Sadeghi urged the officials and theater community not to let the private theater activities would go down as such complexes needed to assist young talents.

The complex re-opened with two plays on Monday; ‘Meteorite’ and ‘Good Sleep Sleep’.

Public relations of the complex said over the weekend that the facelift of the complex was over and the complex would re-open.

‘Good Sleep Sleep’, which is written and directed by Salim Bashokouh, hold its closing days of the rehearsals and has started performance at the complex every day except for Saturdays at 18:30.

The 60-minute play depicts Cain and Abel as one of the most important stories of mankind. It pictures how alive the story is today’s lives of humans.

Maedeh Qadiri, Kianoush Khanmohammadi, Narges Hezareh, Nima Zaker, Mohammad Tayefeh and Elena Aahi play in the piece.  

‘Meteorite’ is directed by Mahdi Gotmiri and will have performance in number two hall of Arghanoun Theater Complex.

Armin Eftekharzadeh, Elaheh Sa’dian, Mahdi Gotmiri, Pouyan Hemmati, Maryam Fathi, Alireza Mirza Mohammadali, Hadi Talebi, Paria Biglari, Mahdi Bonyadi, Iman Amouei, Houman Latifian, Seyyed Ali Gotmiri, Amir Mirzadeh, Omid Ahmadi, Farshad Nasiri are the cast.

Arghanoun Theater Complex will have a play writing event in late November to identify young talents.
