At 36th Fadjr International Theater Festival
Katerina Evangelato & Shokr Khoda Goudarzi to Hold Panel Discussion
Katerina Evangelato, Greek director of theater and opera, and Shokr Khoda Goudarzi from Iran will have joint panel discussion at 36th Fadjr International Theater Festival.
Evangelato is graduate of theater and philosophy, who has directed many productions of Greek National Theater since 2006. She has been teaching in many educational institutes and Athens University in Greek.
She has received many awards as director and young artist. She has conducted studies on Greek tragedies and adapted many operas from them.
Goudarzi has a long career in play writing and direction with a contemporary approach towards classic plays. He has a thorough knowledge of Iran mythology and epic heroes.
The panel discussion will revolve around women characters in national masterpieces, a modern review of Ferdowsi's epic poetry book Shahnameh and Euripides.
The panel discussion will be held at Amirkhani Hall of Iranshahr Theater Complex on January 22 from 5 to 8 pm.
The 36th Fadjr International Theater Festival will open in Tehran on January 18.
