Culture Minister Opens
“Future of Theater in Provinces” at Sangelaj Theater
A specialized meeting on “Future of Theater in Provinces” opened at Sangelaj Theater of Tehran with the participation of minister of culture and Islamic guidance, Seyyed Reza Salehi Amiri, deputy culture minister for artistic affairs, Ali Moradkhani, and director general of Dramatic Arts Center, Mahdi Shafiee.
Ali Asghar Karandish, deputy minister for development and resources, Mohammad Mehdi Ahmadi, ministry’s director general for provincial affairs, Armaghan Behdarvand, managing director of Iran Association of Performing Arts and a number of artists and officials from across the country are attending the opening ceremony, Iran Theater reported.
Mr Shafiee welcomed participants in the opening ceremony on Sunday.
The meeting is aimed at creating models, sharing opportunities and improving theater management across the country. Baba Taher Hotel of Tehran is hosting the event on July 16-17.
