A Nobel prize Winner, Alice Munro’s In Sight of the Lake to analyze

Iran Theater- The radio program Labyrinth of story will narrate and review In Sight of lake by Alice Munro.

Alice Munro is a canadian short-story writer who gained international recognition with her exquisitely drawn narratives. The Swedish Academy dubbed her a “master of the contemporary short story” when it awarded her the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2013. Munro’s work was noted for its precise imagery and narrative style, which is at once lyrical, compelling, economical, and intense, revealing the depth and complexities in the emotional lives of everyday people.

 

 

 

Margaret Atwood, has named Alice Monroe "an international literary saint."Munro had begun writing stories as a teenager, and she persevered in her attempt to establish herself as a writer despite years of rejection from publishers and the limitations imposed on her career by the responsibilities of marriage and motherhood

 

Munro embraced the mystery, intimacy, and tension of the ordinary lives of both men and women, rooted in the uncharted and ambivalent landscape of what affectionately came to be known as “Munro country.”

The radio program Labyrinth of story is  broadcast for the first time on Thursday, and those who are interested can listen to its rebroadcast on Monday, at 9 pm. Behnaz Bostandoust will narrate “In Sight of the Lake”. and  Kayhan Bahmani analyzes it. The biography is narrated by Reza Omrani and  the show is produced by Zhaleh Mohammad Ali.
