The show "Galilei" to be on stage in October and November

Shahaboddin Hosseinpour, the director of the play" Galilei ", which was supposed to be on stage in the main hall of  City Theater Complex this fall, gave explanations about the performance conditions of the show.

 

He said: "Before the pandemic, we were supposed to perform "Galilei" on stage and we rehearsed for 3 months, which was not possible at that time due to the suspension of the rehearsals, Once again, we decided to rehearse and perform the show by reopening of the halls during the pandemic. We started rehearsing 5 months ago in the most difficult conditions, and we were supposed to bring the show on stage in City Theater Complex in autumn and winter. "

 

He added: "The play was reviewed and after holding several meetings regarding regulatory issues, permission was issued to perform the show. But due to the events that happened in the last month, the rehearsals were stopped and during the conversation we had with the cast, we unfortunately came to the decision not to perform due to the current conditions of society and theater. We spent hundreds of millions Tomans for the rehearsal and production of “Galilei "before it was stopped, and we are in debt, and it is not possible to continue without compensation. Therefore, we had meetings with the Director General of Performing Arts Center, who announced that they would compensate us for our financial losses, and we are pursuing this promise. "

 

 

 

At the end Hosseinpour said: "According to the deal with the head of the City Theater Complex, it was decided that the show " Galilei " will be on stage in October and November ,2022 in the main hall of City Theater Complex for 45 nights. I hope that this show will be performed in a suitable, calm circumstance where the mood of the people will be good and the result of many years of hard works and efforts of the troupe will achieve the results. "
