Khosrow Bamdad Dies at 84

Iran Theater-Khosrow Bamdad, researcher, lecturer, playwright and veteran theater director, passed away today, Wednesday, November 10, due to old age.

During his professional career, he wrote the plays "Sharpening Knife", "Goodbye Forever", "Hasanak Wazir", "Mansour Hallaj", "Two Women" and "Khasi Dar Mi’ad".

As a director, he brought on stage many plays, including "Bear", "Illusion", "Journey in the Desert", "Rainy Night" and "Robotic servant".                  

 

As a researcher and lecturer, he analyzed the works of playwrights such as Shakespeare, August Strindberg, Harold Pinter, Eugène Ionesco and Eugene O'Neill.
