Txema Munoz meets with the General Director of Performing Arts Center
Iran has the largest number of drama festivals in the world
Iran Theater- Spanish actor and stage director , Txema Munoz had a meeting with Kazem Nazari ,the General Director of Performing Arts Center during the 2023 FITF.
Spanish director of the show "Lumiere" met Kazem Nazari (Director General of Performing Arts Center) and Mozhgan Vakili (Director of International Relation Department performing Arts Center of Iran) in the office of the director general of performing arts.
Kazem Nazari confirmed the high position of Spanish artists in the world and welcomed the presence of Spanish artists in the 2023 FITF.
"Iran has a variety of festivals, and therefore Iran can be considered to have the largest number of theater festivals in the world."
The Director General of Performing Arts considered this to be the result of Iranians' great interest in performing arts.Txema Muñoz discussed that theater has common movements and the the basics everywhere in the world.
"Different countries of the world may have different points of view in politics, but they all share the same feelings, and all feelings can be unified on stage."
Txema Munoz has a conservatory education, mime and pantomime and chorography and magician.
He said: In the first two days of my stay in Iran, I have gotten to know more about Iranian art and I hope that next year I will be able to participate in Iranian theater festivals with more shows.Mozhgan Vakili, Director of International Relation Department performing Arts Center of Iran announced the holding of a new festival in Zanjan city in the field of happy shows (circus, clown, etc.) next year, which was also welcomed by the Spanish artist, and he expressed his hope that he would be able to participate in this festival with shows New participation.
The Spanish one man show "Lumiere" written and directed by Txema Munoz and Carls Sans competes in the international section of the 2023 FITF.
The 2023 FITF is underway in Tehran until January 31. The festival is presided over by Iranian actor and director Kourosh Zarei.
