Adaptations Can Also Take Part in the Panorama Section
IRAN THEATER – according to the Dramatic Arts Center’s public relations, at the requests of some directors to take part in the Iranian Theater Panorama section with adapted texts, the headquarters declared that besides the Iranian texts (first priority), adaptation is also acceptable.
It is mentionable that the conditions of the Panorama section, written in the Call for Entries, were as follows:
1- The works dedicated to the sublime national heritage and the Islamic, native and regional aspects, receive priority consideration.
2- The works should not be published or staged before.
3- The applicants should send 3 copies of the text, enclosed by the world file and the application form, by October.
4- The list of accepted texts will be announced by November.
5- Accepted texts will be published by the Namayesh Press and will receive maximum 20 million Riyals.
6- During the festival the best texts will be read for the first time.
7- The groups that read the texts will be given maximum 15 million Riyals.
8- This section is not competitive.
9- The maximum capacity of the section is 9 texts.
