Students from 6 Foreign Countries at Saye Venue

IRAN THEATER – Public relations of the city theater reports that Saye venue hosts a play called “U Turn” which was seen by a group of 25 spectators from Bulgaria, Turkey, Hungary, Italy, Armenia, and Georgian.

After watching “U Turn”, the students of Persian History & Literature, and Iran logy considered the stage production as an ideal example of eastern theater which helped them learning Persian conversation.
Considering “U Turn” as an interesting work, “Victor Heke Doush”, student of Iran logy from Hungry said: “I liked the work, but since I am not proficient in Farsi, I felt that the actors were speaking rapidly.”
Pointing to the work’s high quality, Ilina Bourgeoa, student of Iran logy from Sofia university of Bulgaria, said: “It is the first time I have come to Iran. I did not think that theater is this much advanced here.”
“I got the impression that the play was a tragedy performed by experienced actors.” Gouzde Esma Zanghin, from Turkey, said. “However, we are learning Farsi so we could not understand conversations very well.”
Mentioning her first presence in Iran, Tatia Arpouli, student of Persian History & Literature from university of Tbilisi, said: “I enjoyed the performance specially the music and acting.”
“I roughly got the work’s theme, but the actors were speaking apace.” She continued. “As far as I concerned the Iranian thought is so excellent and I supposed that Iranian theater should be more developed.”
