Nominees of the 8th Annual Competition of Theater House’s Critics and Authors’ Society
IRAN THEATER – After observing works of 36 applicants of 7 trends, jury of the 8th Annual Competition of the Critics and Authors’ Society of the Theater House includes Dr. Mohammad Hussein Naser Bakht (critic and theater professor), Dr. Mehrdad Hojati (critic and professor of communication) and Hamid Reza Modaqegh (critic, communication educator and doctorate student) declared the list of nominees as follows:
1- Translation: Asqar Nouri (Namayesh monthly), Sadeq Rashidi (Theater quarterly), Minoo Mirshahvalad (Kargozaran newspaper)
2- Note: Mohammed Rasoul Sadeqi (Iran Theater web site), Foroq Sajadi (Bani Film news paper)

4- Critique: Mehdi Nasiri (Namayesh monthly), Houman Najafian (Iran Theater web site), Amin Azimi (Iran Theater web site)
5- Interview: Abbas Qafari (Naqsh Afarinan monthly), Amin Azimi (Iran Theater web site)
6- Report: The jury refused to chose nominee due to the works’ low quality and they will solely declare one winner at the meeting of the society.
7- Photo: In this section, the head of the Photographer’s Society of the Theater House, Siamak Zomorodi Motlaq, assisted the jury as a consultant. Nominees: Mehrdad Amini, Saqar Barakat, Mousa Hashem Zade
According to the statute of the Theater House’s Critics & Authors’ Society, the membership application is accepted based on success in the annual competition of this society, therefore, the applications of Sadeq Rashidi and Houman Najafian, included in the list of nominees, was accepted.
The list of winners will be announced by the end of the week.
