The Davoud Rashidi Medal will not be awarded in 2020

Ehteram Boroumand emphasized that due to sympathy with the injured people during the last year, the fourth edition of the "Davoud Rashidi" award ceremony will not be held in the same way as in the previous ones.

The last three editions were held on the death  anniversary of this prominent figure of Iranian art on .

She said: "We plan to hold the ceremony every year after the Nowruz holiday. But this year, after the Nowruz holiday, due to the conditions of the society and the outbreak of the Coronavirus, we were in doubt about planning.”

She continued:” Due to coronavirus pandemic in Iran, we do not hold the ceremony in the same way as in the past three editions.”

Boroumand said that all classes and businesses in Iran have been affected by the outbreak of the Corona virus.

She said that this year we will hold an online program on the anniversary of Davoud Rashidi's death.
