Ali Ravanbod announced:

The show "Julius and thugs in Black Alley
or ..." to be on stage

Iran Theater- Ali Ravanbod intends to direct the play "Julius and the Thugs in the Back Alley or Dripping Blood from the Shirt of Democracy."

"Unfortunately Unfortunately, in the past year, closure  of halls have caused a  downtrun in theatrical activities for theater groups, and there has been a gap between performing arts enthusiasts and  theaters.   Meanwhile, a few directors and groups produced a variety of works on a variety of platforms. Regardless of the feedback from these various activities, the audience believes that stage theater is not inherently replaceable by other forms .and that nothing can replace the physical theater experience for the audience.," said Ali Ravanbod, head of MAA theater group.

He added :”In three plays (Coriolanus, Julius Caesar, Antonius, and Cleopatra), William Shakespeare speaks of the transition from republic to Caesarism and Caesarism to empire in Rome, respectively, and the play "Julius Caesar" deals with the collapse of Caesarism in the middle of this historical era. . Shakespeare wrote the tragedy of Julius Caesar between the years 1599-1600, and this tragedy is considered to be Shakespeare's most political and clear play.”

Ali Ravanbod also explained about the performance method of this work: “for designing this work,  I used the interactive method, we will use communication with the audience and we will have a new way of acting and reacting with the audience that has not  been done in previous plays. In terms of performance style and type of interaction with the audience, this show will be full of happy and fun moments, and we try to use a large number of actors in this work .”
