Yazd Grand Theater will be built
Iran Theater- In a ceremony attended by officials and performing artists of Yazd province, the construction of Yazd Grand Theater was started.
The deputy governor for political and security affairs said at the ceremony: "The construction of the Yazd Grand Theater will greatly help the growth and development of performing arts activities in the province, and we hope that this project will be operational soon with the support of the authorities."
Ahmad Tarhomi further appreciated the efforts and support of the Islamic Council and Yazd Municipality for their artistic activities and considered this council as one of the most successful councils in carrying out cultural activities.
Following the ceremony, the mayor of Yazd said: the construction of the Grand Theater will begin this year and will be operational in two years.
He stated: 150 billion Rials credit has been considered for this project this year and the required budget will be provided for its completion next year.
