Tehran Performing Arts Association & Tehran Culture Department to Support
Jahangir Almasi to Perform ' Sensitive Mission'

Jahangir Almasi, noted actor, has been teaching a theater workshop in Malard near the capital city and is going to perform 'Sensitive Mission'.
Mr Almasi told Iran Tehran that 'Sensitive Mission' was about para-military camp defending intellectual and geographical borders.
He added that the play was pursuing the ethical, spiritual, social and cultural values of the country, which was adopted by the Culture and Islamic Guidance Department.
The actor said that the first four sessions of the educational courses were devoted to theory and other session would be on rehearsals.
Most of the students were aged 16 to 19 years old, he said, adding that two senior marine commanders and some grown-up women were taking part in the class based on the characters of 'Sensitive Mission'.
The university instructor noted that the play had a socio/realism approach but would stay away of propaganda with a satirical line.
"I think theater performance and education is of great importance and I will introduce five books during each class as educational source," Mr Almasi said and added, "I has paid much attention to acting, direction, mise-en-scene, movement, breathing, dialog and rhythm during the performance."
The actor stressed that Tehran Performing Arts Association's educational workshops would benefit the youth, especially young girls, who are talented.
He explained that organzing such workshops in an area, which is susceptible to social disorders, had made a movement and made the youth to spend time learning theater than going to café.
Mr Almasi said that educational workshop in Malard was a social asset and had a positive impact on the youth in the region, adding that in fact, the smart program, which was organized by Tehran Culture and Islamic Guidance Department and Tehran Performing Arts Association, helped reduce the young people to hang out less in places which push them towards social delinquencies.
"From Rehearsal to Performance" is a joint program, organized by Tehran Culture and Islamic Guidance Department and Tehran Performing Arts Association, in towns of Tehran province.
