‘Eastern Night’ Closes

City Theater Complex to Host 3 New Plays

Tehran’s City Theater Complex will host three new plays at Sayeh and Plateau halls.

Sayeh Hall will expect audience for its two new plays as ‘Eastern Night’, which was directed by Naseh Kamgari, had its last performance, Iran Theater reported.

 

Don’t Let This Dream Comes True’, which is written and directed by Mahdi Nasiri, will open on Tuesday, October 17, at Sayeh Hall.

 

The 70-minute play will have performance every day except for Saturdays at 18:00. Bahram Tashakor, Taraneh Kouhestani, Behrouz Panahandeh, Fariba Aminian, Reza Joshani and Homa Parian play at the piece

 

Flight 745’ is another new play, which is written and directed by Marjan Pourgholamhossein. It will open on October 16 at Sayeh Hall. The 40-minute play will have performance every day except for Saturdays at 20:00.

Marjan Pourgholamhossein, Golnoush Taheri play and Bita Baharlou is puppeteer of the piece.

'Mom's Bridal Veil', which is directed by Maryam Mansouri, closed at Plateau Hall. 'Rahmard', which is written and directed by Hamed Houshyari, will begin on Tuesday, October 17 at Plateau Hall. The 50-minute play will have performance every day except for Saturdays at 18:00. Alaeddin Ghasemi and Babak Vali will play in 'Rahmard'.     

‘The Colonel’, which is about Aziz, a 35-year-old, young man from a rich Qajar family who has ambition to rule Tehran, is on stage at the main auditorium of the City Theater Complex. It is written and directed by Kheirollah Taghianipour. It opened on October 8.

"Seven PM of Seventh Day of Autumn', which is written and directed by Ayoub Aghakhani, is being performed at Charsou Hall. It has performance every day at 19:45 except for Saturdays. Rahim Norouzi and Leila Boloukat play in the 70-minute piece.

Hossein Pakdel, Shahram Haghighatdoust, Atabak Naderi, Cyrus Hemmati, Arash Asefi, Mona Farjad, Atiyeh Javid, Mostafa Sassani, Javad Pourzand, Vahid Nafar, Alireza Nasehi, Elaheh Shahparast, Hossein Shafiee, Mohammad Shokri, Siamak Toudeh-Fallah, Mohsen Mehri, Anahita Khosrawi, Samira Salimi, Zaynab Qamari, Milad Ebrahimi, Mahyar Tahmasbi, Hamed Badiee, Negar Jafari, Sarvenaz Jamshidi, Amir Baadbedast and Aysan Haddad are the cast.

The 100-minute play has performance every day except for Saturdays at 19:30 at main auditorium of the City Theater Complex.  

‘Who Killed Sohrab?’, which is inspired by the story of Rostam and Shohrab in great Persian poet Abolqasem Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh, is written and directed by Shahram Karami.

Bahram Shahmohammadlou, Roya Afshar, Farid Qobadi, Soroush Taheri, Hossein Pourkarimi and Abban Hosseinaadi play in ‘Who Killed Sohrab?’ It has performance every day except for Saturdays at Qashqaei Hall of the City Theater Complex at 19:00.
