Ehsan Janami, director of ‘My Dreams Bleed’, singles out public performance of the plays taking part at the Ashura to Arbaeen National Mourning Event as positive.
Janami is performing at black box of the Farshchian Complex in Isfahan, which is co-produced by Kavosh Theater Group and Isfahan Performing Arts Association and is welcomed by the audience.
Mr Janami told Iran Theater that such events if were organized regularly and ideal objectives could play a positive role and cover audience of every class.
Another positive point of the event, the director said, was the chance for plays to be performed nationally because the public performance could both help theater improve and generate job for theater artists.
He stressed that budget shortage was one of the problems facing the event, which means quality productions should not be expected, adding that however, theater community would try to do their best on stage.
Janami said that ‘My Dreams Bleed’ was a nightmare in which special colors and shapes were used to picture time and place travel.
The play tells the story of a woman in four nightmares she sees every night. It has social and religious theme. ‘My Dreams Bleed’ is the story of the woman when she tries to end the nightmares.
Rasoul Honarmand, Maedeh Vahid, Farzad Ghasemi, Mohammad Karbalaei, Delaram Torki, Setareh Tabrizi, Nima Atash, Maedeh Mousavi, Iman Nazifi, Shahrzad Rezaei, Sanaz Niknam, Gholamreza Hashemifard and Mahsa Rostami play in ‘My Dreams Bleed’. It has performance at 18:30 at Farshchian Complex in Isfahan.
