Jamshid Mashayekhi Hospitalized
Noted theater and cinema actor Jamshid Mashayekhi is hospitalized due to poor health and kidney disease on Sunday.
He is intensive care unit, Iran Theater reported.
Giti Raofi, wife of Mr Mashayekhi, told Mehr news agency that the 82-year-ol actor had been hospitalized three days ago because of stone in his kidney.
She added that physicians would undergo a small surgery on him and it was not clear when he would be released.
In a career spanning six decades, the celebrated actor starred in movies such as 'The Cow', 'Kaiser (Qeysar)', 'The Curse' and 'Brick and Mirror',
