A Celebration for Theater Productions of a Year

In a meeting with artists in the city on Tuesday, Ms Kazemi said that the 23 editions of the festivals had been hold so far and some sections had been added and cut and the change in management could not change the system over a night, Iran Theater reported.

 

The secretary said that she had based her management on such rules as not to add or cut any sections to or from the festival with through studies and just to make reforms on the management of the former secretaries.

 

She said she would welcome any criticism, adding that such criticisms could be directed at not only Hamedan festival but also other festivals in Tehran.  

 

Ms Kazemi said that the festival was time for picking up the products of a year, which could show potential of the country in the field.

 

On the criticism about selection of the final lineup, Ms Kazemi said that the festival was specialized in the field of theater of children and young adults and it had tried to choose the best of plays of the field of the past years.

 

Addressing the artists of Hamedan, she said that trust the officials of the city because they were doing their best to hold the festival as better as they can. She promised to attend the criticism too.

 

Ms Kazemi said that the festival belongs to artists from all corners of the country not just Tehran and Hamedan and the organizers had invited the artists of all provinces to the event.

 

On international section, she said that it would be competitive and any director who wanted to very in the section was invited to apply.
