Iran Theater to Pay Tribute to Late Mostafa Okouei & Host ‘The Colonel’ Meeting

Iran Theater will pay tribute to Mostafa Oskouei, founder of Anahita Theater and Iran modern theater on the occasion of his 12th death anniversary on Saturday at Iran 23rd Media Exhibition.
A number of his students at Anahita Theater including Kazem Hajirazad, Farhad Tajvidi, Biuk Mirzaei, Nahid Moslemi and Rasoul Najafian will take part in the commemoration ceremony at Iran Theater stand.
Also, the director and actors of ‘The Colonel’ will gather in Iran Theater stand at the exhibition, which opened on Friday. 'The Colonel', which is written and directed by Kheirollah Tagianipour, tries to picture part of Iran contemporary history (the Qajar dynasty) and dominance of ignorance, dependency and lack of patriotism among Iranians during the era. Atabak Nader who stars in 'The Colonel' understands his role as Amin-odoleh very well.
The 100-minute play has performance every day except for Saturdays at 19:30 at main auditorium of the City Theater Complex.
Artists, officials and lovers of theater are welcomed at the stand of Iran Theater at the exhibition untils November 3.
Visitors can take a look at the weeklong exhibition from 9 am till 8 pm.
