Maryam Kazemi: Press Should Not Judge About Shows

Maryam Kazemi, theater actor and director and secretary of the festival to be held in November in Hamedan, attended the stand of Iran Theater at the 23^rd Media Exhibition on its third day on Sunday.

Kazemi said that media which specializes in the field theater should employ those who know dramatic arts very well while they should decide on taste of the audience, Iran Theater reported.

Instead of judgement, media should focus on dissemination of information, she stressed, adding that football was successful because nobody could impose his/her taste on others and the audience would understand if the reporter is biased.

The director stressed that media stay away of judging theater pieces and try to pave the ground for fair criticism and dialog.

Artists, officials and lovers of theater are welcomed at the stand of Iran Theater at the exhibition until November 3.

 Visitors can take a look at the weeklong exhibition, which was opened on Saturday, from 9 am till 8 pm.
