Director General of Dramatic Arts Center, Mahdi Shafiee, and Atabak Naderi, director of Dramatic Arts Center for provincial affairs, travelled to northwestern city of Ardebil to take part at the memorial service of the late theater artist Majid Vahedizadeh.
Shafiee and Naderi went to the cemetery of Ardebil to pay tribute to late writer, actor and director on his grave, Iran Theater reported.
Shafiee said that the death of Majid made all artists deeply said and expressed condolences on his sudden death.
His memorial service was held on Saturday at Pir Abdolmalek Mosque of Ardebil.
Kourosh Zarei, Tohid Masoumi, Yaghoub Seddigh-Jamali, a group of theater artists from Ardebil, officials of East Azarbaijan, Zanjan and Ardebil Performing Arts Associations attended the memorial service.
Vahedizadeh, 49, died on November 22. Vahedizadeh was hosting the guests of theater festival of individuals with physical impairments at the time of his death.
