Executive Director of 24th Festival:
Orphan Children to Take Part in Opening of International Theater Festival of Children and Youth
Nosratollah Ramezani, executive director of the 24th International Theater Festival of Children and Youth, said that the opening of the event would take place with the presence of the orphan children under coverage of the State Welfare Organization.
Ramezani said that the opening would take place at 9 am, Thursday, November 30, at Hamedan's Avicenna Art and Culture Complex, Iran Theater reported. He added that artists, state and provincial officials as well as children and youth would attend the opening ceremony.
The official said the opening ceremony would be a celebration for children and the organizers of the festival have tried to make it popular each year. This year, the organizers have coordinated with State Welfare Organization to invite children and adolescents under the cover of the state body to the ceremony, Ramezani said, adding that naghali (Persian storytelling), children music and performances by artists would include the programs in the ceremony.
The festival will start on December 1 and close on December 6 in the western city of Hamedan. Maryam Kazemi is the secretary.
