Some directors of leading European festivals hold meetings with Iranian artists and director general of Dramatic Arts Center to get an insight of the country's private and state theater venues.
Saeed Asadi, director of Dramatic Arts Center for international affairs said that seven directors theater and leading festivals of Europe visited the venues based on prior plans and watched some plays on Friday, Iran Theater reported.
He added that the four-day visit would be aimed at introduction of Iranian groups and artists to international festivals, creating opportunities for presence of Iran theater in the international venues, strengthening relationships of artists and state and private theater and preparing the ground for participation of leading international groups from Europe in Iran.
The international directors of Europe are Frédéric Mazelly Théâtre de La Vilette, Paris, France, Lou Colombani Festival Parallèle, Marseille, France, Sylvie Violan Festival des Arts de Bordeaux, France, Aida Tavares Municipal theater Sao Luiz, Lisbon, Portugal, Cesc Casadesús Grec festival, Barçelona, Spain, Marta Oliveres Institut Ramon Llul, Barcelona, Spain, Niek Vom Bruch Grand Theatre and Noorderzone festival, Groningen, Netherlands.
