Mohammad Yaghoubi’s Play ‘The Winter of 1987’ at Niavaran Complex

‘The Winter of 1987’, which is written by renowned playwright Mohammad Yaghboubi, will be directed by Ali Jafari at Ghousheh Hall of Niavaran Cultural Complex.
The play, which will start on December 22, tells the story of events surrounding a family on the very first day Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein bombarded Tehran in the winter of 1987, Iran Theater reported.
Masoum Ahmadzadeh, Rose-Maryam Kazemi, Iman Ebadian, Khashayar Shamshirgaran, Paria Taheri, Hirad Torkzadeh will start in the play. Voice artists are Hamed Azizi and Maryam Jalini. Set and lighting designer is Salar Hosseinifar, costume designer: Sara Hojjat, makeup designer: Mina Fathipour, poster designer: Saghar Radnejad, photographer: Ramin Zaminpayma, media advisor: Amin Kordbacheh, sound engineering and designer: Hossein Motmaenzadeh, assistant director: Omid Omidpour, production assistant: Mahsa Shams and set director: Hamed Haghani.
Mohammad Yaghoubi directed the play first time in 1998 at the Fadjr International Theater Festival and received numerous awards including the best play.
The play will be performed until January 20 at 19:30 every day except for Saturdays and Tuesdays.
