'Romeo and Juliet' Not to Take Part in Fadjr International Theater Festival

'Romeo and Juliet', which is directed by Hasti Hosseini, is produced by Tehran Independent Theater Complex. The withdrawal is announced to the secretariat of the festival in a letter.

Mostafa Koushki, director of Tehran Independent Theater Complex and producer of 'Romeo and Juliet', wished success for all members of theater family in Iran, linking the withdrawal to certain issues surrounding participation of this play and other pieces of the Tehran Independent Theater Complex.

The producer of 'Romeo and Juliet' wished success for the organizers of the festival and its director and colleagues.

'Romeo and Juliet' was performed in Tehran in May and June.
