New Board of Directors Elected

Dr Hamidreza Ardalan, head of UNIMA Iran, gave a report of the activities of MOBARAKUNIMA, which was followed by a report of four years of activities of the provincial offices of the UNIMA, Iran Theater reported.

The members voted to select the new board of directors and inspectors was held later in attendance of the representative of Dramatic Arts Center of the Culture Ministry, Mahdi Hajian as observer.  

Ardeshir Salehpour, Salma Mohseni Ardahali, Farnaz Behzadi, Majid Bour Bour, Ramin Kohan, Abbas Khandani and Fahimeh Mirzahosseini were elected as new members of the board of directors.

The alternate board members included Mahdi Habibi and Soheila Bajelan. Kayvan Eghbali was elected as inspector and Hooman Rouhtafi as substitute inspector.

Payman Shariati, director of the City Theater Complex, hosted the event.

MOBARAKUNIMA is the Iranian-based center of UNIMA (Union Internationale de la Marionnette - International Puppetry Association). It was born in Iran about 20 years ago. MOBARAK UNIMA is the Iranian Centre of UNIMA whose activities were revived in 2010.
It has established offices in the Iranian provinces of Gilan, South Khorasan, Golestan, Hormozgan and Qazvin.
