Pino Di Buduo, renowned Italian director, is in Tehran to make coordination to start rehearsal for 'Invisible Cities', which is going to be performed at the 36th Fadjr International Theater Festival.
'Invisible Cities' is one of the production, which is set to be performed at the festival this February, Iran Theater reported.
'Invisible Cities' has been performed in the world major cities such as London, Paris, Rome and Budapest since 1991. The show is going to be performed in Iran upon an invitation by the internation section of the festival and coordination with Italian embassy in Tehran. It is out of competition.
'Invisible Cities' is inspired by a novel by the contemporary Italian writer Italo Calvio. The writer pictures relationship between city and human in this novel. The production will set the city as its stage and will make a scenario based on the encounter with a vibrant city. The project is created by Teatro Potlach.
Tehran is a vibrant city today and has the potential to be a stage for this giant project.
