Secretariat of 36th Fadjr International Theater Festival announced the winners of two awards; production and professional dramatic literature.
Mahdi Shafiee, director general of Dramatic Arts Center, Armaghan Behdarvand, managing director of Iran Performing Arts Association, Farhad Mohandespour, director of the festival, took part in the ceremony, which was held in Nazerzadeh Kermani Hall of Iranshahr Theater Complex, Iran Theater reported.
Nader Borhani-Marand, representative of the jury members, read a statement in which they awarded Morteza Shahkaram for 'Upon Demand', Niaz Esmailpour and Maryam Elhamian for 'Cake…Luck' and Parisa Kiumarsi for 'Quartet'.
Other candidates included 'You Have Grown So Much that I Did not Recognize You' by Sadegh Bahari from Tehran, 'Scissors Fortune Telling' by Farzaneh Mahboubinia from Isfahan, 'The Rescuer Will Come Back' by Tahmineh Mohammadi from Tehran and 'Farang' by Mariah Shahi from Karaj.
The winners received their awards from Nader Borhani-Marand, Jamshid Khanian, Fares Bagheri and Vahid Aghaei.
After music performances, winners of professional sections were announced by Mohammad Ami Yarahmadi, representative of the jury of the section, which included Mohammad Charmshir, Jalal Tehrani and Mohammad Yarahmadi.
The winners included Payam Larian for 'Australia', Mohammad Mon'em for ' Splendid Smile of Mr Azhdehak in Long Night' and Ali Abedi for 'Tiola'.
Other candidates were 'The Season to Pick Grapes' by Sahra Ramezanian from Tehran, 'Miss Call Theory' by Mohsen Rahnama from Isfahan, 'His Wings' by Arash Abbasi from Tehran and 'Marilyn Monroe, Hedayat, Van Gogh and Partners' by Masoud Ahmadi from Shiraz.
