Offstage Lineup Introduction

The lineup were chosen among plays, which were performed for the public over the past year, Iran Theater reported.

Any play, which is performed outdoor in conventional theater venues in an unconventional way and can establish connection with the audience, can be included in the section.

Hamid Pourazari is the director of the section, which includes 41 of which 17 are street shows, six in practical theater, six in international, fur in side, four in review sections and four are guests.  

Offstage plays from Tehran and Mashhad, Iran's second biggest city are; 'Narges', which is written, designed and directed by Hossein Tavazonizadeh, 'After Incident', written by Niloofar Nedaei and directed by Pouyan Bagherzadeh, 'Invisible or Anything You..', designed and directed by Jafar Hejazi, 'Death Peformance' , which is designed and directed by Erfan Shirrangi.

The 180-minute performance is based on direct dialogue between performers and audience on the reality of death. The performance has no narration and depends on the questions.

The festival will open in Tehran this Thursday. Farhad Mohandespour is the director. Provincial leg of the festival is underway in the center of some provinces.
