Reza Moghadasi Dies
After Long Illness

Reza Moghadasi, former managing director of Mehr News Agency, dies Friday morning after long illness.
The late Moghadasi, a media person, was born in 1967 in holy city of Mashhad. He started his career in the media when he was at school by writing in student newspapers. He was a correspondent for years.
He had been a member of editorial board of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, political and society desk editor of Jame Jam newspaper, deputy editor of Hamshahri newspaper, managing director of Khabar newspaper, managing director of Mehr News Agency and Tehran Times English daily.
He was a leading media figure, devoted to values of the Islamic Republic. He has started professional career with Qods newspaper of Mashhad when he was 20 years old.
Iran Theater expresses condolences to his family and members of the media.
Also, director general of Dramatic Arts Center, Mahdi Shafiee, expressed condolences on the death of late Moghaddasi.
Part of his message read; "Reza Moghaddasi reached his final destination. A wise director who carried the torch of the media and left us with a good reputation in media…"
