Hosseini: Mashayekhi, an Eternal Treasure

Seyed Mohammad Mojtaba Hosseini, deputy culture minister for artistic affairs, and Mahdi Shafiee, director general of Dramatic Arts Center, paid a visit to Mashayekhi in his home on Wednesday, Iran Theater reported.  

Seyed Mohammad Mojtaba Hosseini expressed satisfaction that Mashayekhi was getting better, saying that he was an eternal treasure for the Iranian nation, who love him.

Mahdi Shafiee also said that master Mashayekhi has always been a motivation for the young theater artists and he has encouraged them by seeing their plays at theater venues.

Mashayekhi expressed hope that all those who are serving the culture and art of Iran would be successful and more opportunities would be created by the officials for the young artists.

Mashayekhi, who had been hospitalized recently, was released on Monday following an improvement in his general health.
