Sacrifice, a Universal Human Value not related to Certain Geography & Time

The final result of review of works taking part at the 6th Sacrifice National Theater Festival has already begun.

140 theatre groups of 28 provinces will be competing at the festival and the final result will be announced on March 1, Iran Theater reported.

Ardalan Shoja'kaveh is one the members of the selection board of the 6th Sacrifice National Theater Festival. He said that theatre groups taking part at the festival had high performance potentials, Iran Theater reported.

Shoja'kaveh described as well the performance of participants of the festival, saying that the performances were revolved around the title of the festival which is sacrifice and priority would be given to those performances, which are closer to the theme of the festival.

The cinema, television and theater actor who had been a member of the jury of the fifth edition of the festival said that the performances have improved this year compared to the previous edition.

"The sacred defense is a priority of the festival while sacrifice is a universal human value, which is not limited to any geography or period of history," said Shoja'kaveh, adding that sacrifice was defined as forgiveness before being asked by somebody.

He explained that participating groups of different cities were not obliged to have live performance and they can submit a video of their performances to the secretariat.
