The need for support was announced at the Arasbaran Short Theater Festival

 

Celebration of the National Day of Performing Arts and International Theater Day with the presence of art lovers and officials was held in the hall of the cultural complex of the Aar Islamic Culture and Guidance Office.

The ceremony was initiated by Alireza Aghazadeh, the director of the Ahar Performing Arts Association, after greetings to the guests and officials , he appreciated those who cooperated to celebrate this day.

"He said the annual festival of Arasbaran Theater is necessary for the city .

“The city has reached a dead end in attracting tourists. Therefore holding such festivals will  attract artists, travelers and tourists from other cities such as Kish, Shiraz, Bandar Genaveh  may visit the city”, he added.

The message of the International Day of Iranian Theater from Jamshid Mashayekhi was read by Ali Mahdoupour, a pioneering Iranian artist.

At the ceremony, Zahid Mahmoudi, the governor of Ahar, emphasized the necessity of the impartial support of officials and artists from the Arasbaran theater festival, and continued: "Fortunately, due to the cultural and artistic capacities in the city of Ahar, the Arasbaran theater festival has been successfully held in the past years. This is a strong point for the city of Ahar and Arasbaran area.”

Referring to improving the quality of the festival, he added, "Every person with any thought and taste should do something about the enhance the quality of the festival  and the authorities should agree together."

Ahar Governor, announcing that the celebration of the International Theater Day in East Azarbaijan Province will be held only in Ahar, said: "The celebration in Ahar represents the historical, cultural and artistic background of this area”.

Mahmoudi referred to the theater's position and concept: "Culture and art in the society have a high status, and the most important role of the theater and cultural and artistic programs is to create  happiness."

He added that Dr. Rouhani, in the majority of conversations and talks, emphasized in social vitality and happiness, the authorities should do everything to accomplish this.
