16 foreign guests to attend at the 21st Iran International Theater Festival

The media  press conference of the 21st Iran International Theater Festival   was held in the presence of many reporters.

 According to Iran theater, Massoud Hakimi-Najjad , Head of region section of festival, said that this year, after three years,  region section of festival is .estored to a greater extent. “

Then he continued: 244 plays were uploaded in the form of a plan and idea on the site of the festival's registration, and 153 of them were reviewed in the first stage. Of these, 19 have been introduced to the secretariat of the festival, and there will also be a work in this section as a guest of the regions of the University at the festival. In the play section, in a review of 157 works, the jury finally introduced 10 plays as candidates.”

He went on to mention the collaboration of other organizations and said that during this period some of the organizers participated in holding this section of the festival. “Hoze Honari” was one of those supporters .Also, the State Department of the Performing Arts of the country, with the management of Mr. Shahram Karami, has also done remarkable contributions for the event. Other supporters are including The university of Khaleej Fars,boshehr city.

Hadi Hemmati, one of the officials of international section of Festival also said that 16 foreign guests will attend theater festival. They will come from all over the world such as France, Germany, Belgium, Australia, Russia, Romania and Norway. Five dramatic works by foreign artists will also be on stage.

He added: "The new event will take place in  festival and there will be a some interaction between Iranian students and foreign students and academics. There will also be workshops led by foreign artists, one of which is the French artist Gil Schilat, who has previously had attended   at the thirty-fifth Fajr Theater international festival. In total, more than 90 hours of workshops, master classes and specialized panels in the field of theater are provided .”
